They're just taking numbers right now, I think. They're only gonna release it to 5,000 or so players, maybe, depending on how big this beta test is gonna be.

18+ ?? Wow, I doubt that very much unless there was tons of sex, gore and language that breaches 15+ terms.

After Spore was such a friendly child's game I doubt EA/Maxis will go all out and turn it up that high. I think it'll be a 12+ at best.

i hope not. Here in australia we don't have R18+ ratings for games, thus it wouldn't be allowed in australia, but somehow i'm doubtful it would be rated that high. A game needs to be either incredibly violent or explicit to recieve and R18+ rating.

True. While my family wouldn't care if I had an 18 game (as if it's never happened before!) it's still legal issues and stuff and that, despite me being mature enough to handle it, I wont be allowed to legally buy it on my own.

Feels bad man >_> If it's a 15+ at least now I have more hope than back with GA.

It probably won't be rated M, because like Becca said, there isn't lots of sex, gore or language. It's a bloody reward for every kill, but that alone goes towards a T rating.

And, now that I mention it, I haven't heard really an English language or subtitles in Darkspore at all scratch

Yeah but the problem here is because the governor or Victoria (I believe its the victorian governor) is an idiot who believess games cause violence in children, he is the only one preventing australia from being able to get R18+ games. So I could be 30 and still not get to play it Sad.

I digress. again i find it very unlikely it will be R18+. Hell even GTA IV wasn't R18+ (atleast it wasn't R18+ here) and its filled will murdering, drugs and sex...I don't think EA have it in them to make a game like that, nor do i see there being anyway you could turn spore into an R18+ game
