Beta opens up tomorrow in about 10 hours for me. Really excited.

I'm sort of sad that the beta is only for US. Although, I'm just thinking EA or Maxis doesn't have the money to extend the server connection to worldwide.

I'll tell you guys how it goes tomorrow, kay? Smile

If Beta is only for US, then it was pretty ridiculous and mind-tricking the publicity they made. I didn't see at any point anything stating it wouldn't be allowed for Europe as well.

Thats about a 4 out of 5 on the lameness scale on EA's part. They seem to be completely focused on the US market.

The only way the could achieve a 5 out of 5 on the lameness scale is if the US release came with extras that the other continents don't get.

They could achieve a 6 out of 5 on the lameness scale if they made a shock announcement that Darkspore would be a North America release only Razz

Though that wouldn't happen........... almost certainly wouldn't happen........ probably wouldn't happen..............Might happen......................................... I wouldn't put it past EA to do it though

I'm sorry but EA is an international company, some of their most successful games are made in Canada and France. The Sims franchise is the best selling video game franchise world-wide, every sports fanatic in the world who plays games has at least one of their sports games in their collection, they have branches in every major company employing thousands of people from every nation possible. One thing they don't seem to be short of is money.

You can't seriously even think they are aiming at the US market only. Even LEGO managed to allow beta-testers all over the world to access their European server at certain times day and night.

Well, I wasn't too sure that it would only be available in the US. I'm sure that I read it in the fineprint of the Beta Key post... If it world-wide, then that's good for us. Smile

If it's not... EA's gonna be losing the majority of their customers who were excited over this game. Like they sort of already have.

I'm probably not going to sign up for the beta, although I'm curious about darkspore. You've all heard my rants about it. I'd like to avoid it outright.

Plus. I never get picked for anything like this. I have the worst luck.
