What type of server is it?

freebuild, I think

I logged on, but noone was there and I couldn't spawn myself stuff

I went in there and punched some sheep. I got 6 pieces of wool so I feel accomplished.

Might give it a go, never been on a server before. Will be exciting!

It's a freebuild, Creative server.
I mainly advertise it on the sporum and here.
Spawning is for citizens, I can Make you one when I see you online.

Whoo. Just went on for quite a while actually. It was my first time on a server so I was all kinds of Noob xD

Remy and everyone else on there were super nice though and I claimed a little island and built a house, which is very much in progress. Theres loads of interesting things there, including some portal themed stuff.

I decided to actually try building something on the server. I'm building a log cabin mountain retreat, not far from the original spawn point.

I think I found that. I love walking round finding all these little creations.

Im on there at the moment, just trying to spiff up my house. The subway is seriously awesome.

I have yet to explore the subway. No idea where your island is either.


Just spent a bit of time working on my house. Put in a fire place, as no mountain cabin is complete without one and working on my second level.

While I like creative build servers, I do miss the fun of having to fend of zombies and spiders and whatnot.

Yeah, that is quite fun. It is, however, annoying to fight with lag, as the monsters hit you while they're still at a considerable distance.
I think there should be a game mode where the bad guys would be present with the exception of the suicidal blow-up ones. That's why I don't have fights close to my constructions.

There are plugins that nerf creepers, though I think they do still damage you.

I kind of like the creepers. I've yet to play on an SMP but I think it would be fun, but probably more the type of server you should have if you've got voice chat or a good friend to play with.

Remi: Its a little out the way, you can see it from pie's aperture labs. I had a nose round your place. I like how its really spacious

I haven't had any issues with connecting. Other than the off bit of lag, been good.

and ah, I haven't actually ventured to the aperture labs yet. I did go to the subway though. Very impressive indeed.

And thanks, though I am far from done with the place. Going to build a second level and sproose up my house and my bridge.

Good that you didn't fall for it, but my trap door at my front door must have failed or you noticed it before you could fall in, thus meaning I need to devise a better home security system for my place.

Well, I noticed some sort of pressure plate, but Id already walked through, i didnt notice anything happen

Looks good so far, can't wait to see it all spruced up. Mines kinda empty too, I intend to fill it with stuff and make a little harbour out front, clear and replant the trees and make a summer house or somthing. Lots to do.

Hmm, everytime I go to log in it tells me, 'Internal server error' or 'end of streaming' Im hoping that just means the server is down... But it also told me 'bad log in' once. I hope I haven't been banned... as I was making a GLADOS room for Pigs and stumbled across a cave some one had a crafting bench in. I left it half finished, so it might have been mistaken for grieving...

No, it happens to all of us. It's either a bug, or the server is down. Close out minecraft and open it again.

Maybe, I've just been looking around for a solution and got loads of mixed answers, like its you firewall, its your loader, its client side, its your plug ins. None of that has changed since I was last playing though :/

Im digging around, probably sort it soon, hopefully!
